CHRISTMAS will be more cheerful this year for all the children cared for by the Oasis charity.
Each year the childcare charity, which helps vulnerable children and their families, launches an appeal to make sure the festive season is a little brighter.
Oasis members visited Procter & Gamble last week to find the staff had brought each of the children a Christmas present, which will be distributed this week.
Oasis founder Caroline Edwards said: "It is fantastic to get that kind of support. Christmas is a hard enough time so it is so lovely that they will all now have a gift.
"It will make a huge difference to the children and their families and from the parents' point of view it is fantastic "
